Pittsburgh, PA: Lewis-Goetz and Company, Inc. (“Lewis-Goetz” or the “Company”) today announced it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Transport Parts Incorporated, a Minneapolis-based distributor of industrial hose and accessories serving the transportation and industrial markets of Minnesota.
Commenting on the acquisition, Jeff Crane, Lewis-Goetz’s President and CEO, said, “Our Company continues to execute its long-term goal of consolidating the fragmented industrial rubber distribution channel in an effort to provide consistent products and services to customers throughout North America. This acquisition further extends the company’s footprint into the northern Midwest markets of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and the Dakotas and will help us better serve existing customers in those geographies. The addition of Transport Parts also brings to the Lewis-Goetz organization two industry veterans, Jeff and Mike Buttleman who will play a critical role in executing our growth strategies for these markets.”
