Here at Lewis-Goetz we offer a number of custom products that cater to the steel industry. If it’s hose you’re looking for we carry such products as high temperature hydraulic hose, high temperature protective sleeve, furnace door hose, oxygen, gas and welding hoses in addition to general service air and water hose. We also offer internal, custom designed metal hose fabrication.
Lewis-Goetz also services conveyor belt requirements for the steel industry by stocking a multitude of conveyor belt specifications designed to handle temperatures ranging from 212 degrees to 1000 degrees F. Additionally, we are able to supply a MSHA rated heat belt for coke applications.
We also have a large array of sealing products that service the steel industry. These include high temperature textiles for furnace and melting areas, roll balance packing for rolling mill back-up and work and roll hydraulic systems. We also supply swell sheet gasketing that dramatically reduces leakage for gear boxes and equipment cover gasket applications. We can also reduce inventory by offering one gasket for the majority of all mill applications.
