Mechanical Seals

Component Seals

Lewis-Goetz supplies Component Seals in various sizes and designs. Multi-Spring, Bellows and Single Spring rotary components come with face combinations in Carbon, Silicon Carbide and Tungsten Carbide with metallurgy components in 316SS, Hastelloy C and Alloy 20. The Stationary components are made out of Ceramic, Tungsten Carbide and Silicon Carbide and both the rotary and stationary secondary seals come in Teflon, Viton, Graphite, Kalrez, EPR, Nitrile and Neoprene depending on the media and temperature. Component seals take longer to install and require more attention to detail when doing so. Component Seals are used in every industry however mostly in the process industries such as Refining, Chemical, Food, Pulp and Paper and Power.

Cartridge Seals

Lewis-Goetz supplies Cartridge Seals in various sizes and component designs. Cartridge Seals are the easiest seals to install and come in the same type designs, metallurgy and secondary seal configurations as component seals. Multi-Spring, Bellows and Single Spring rotary components in the cartridge come with face combinations in Carbon, Silicon Carbide and Tungsten Carbide with metallurgy components in 316SS, Hastelloy C and Alloy 20. The Stationary components are made out of Ceramic, Tungsten Carbide and Silicon Carbide and both the rotary and stationary secondary seals come in Teflon, Viton, Graphite, Kalrez, EPR, Nitrile and Neoprene depending on the media and temperature. Cartridge Seals are used in most every industry however mostly in the process industries such as Refining, Chemical, Food, Pulp and Paper and Power. The key to Cartridge Seals is installation and the time saved doing so.

Cartridge Split Seals

Lewis-Goetz is a supplier of Cartridge Split Seals. Cartridge Split Seals were developed for even quicker installation than standard split seals. With a split seal, dismantling of the equipment is mostly unnecessary. Split Cartridge Seals are used in most every industry however mostly in the process industries such as Refining, Chemical, Food, Pulp and Paper and Power.

Cartridge Lipped Seals

Lewis-Goetz supplies Cartridge Lipped Seals in various sizes and metallurgy. Cartridge Lip type mechanical seals were designed to run in high viscous type applications where conventional face seals either stick together or need environmental controls to keep the faces from sticking together. The Lips are made out of Teflon and can run dry. They can handle shaft speeds up to 700 fpm and temperatures up to 300°F.
